Sage and the Band

Sage participated in another band concert.  She has been first chair clarinet with the sixth grade band; however, she and another girl in her class both scored identically on their test, so the band instructor decided to give the other girl a chance to play first chair.

Sage has learned to play the clarinet fairly quickly.  She has a hard time playing the higher notes, but she's getting there.  We think it might be because she has too much hot air.  Maybe she should have chosen to play the tuba instead.

Sage had a birthday!!!

Can you believe that Sage is 12 yrs old? Holy Cow!! Her mom had some fabulous party ideas, but Sage decided to go downtown Boise for some fun. We went to the Zoo and then to the Idaho History Museum, then we headed out to Aunt Libs to sing and have cake with Sage's little cousin, who turned 3. Here are some pictures.

Clogging Competition - Nampa

Analise had her first clogging competition today.  Her team name is the "Dazzlers".  She and the other girls did a wonderful job.  Analise is on the far left to begin with.  (This is a large file, so it may take a little while before you see it.)

School Pictures 2010

The girls got their pictures taken at school.  They turned out pretty well.  Our little girls aren't so little any more.

Halloween 2010

We had a three-ward trunk-or-treating event at the church last night.  Sage dressed up as Artemis and Lise was Cleopatra.  Brenden and Ella Rowley joined us for the evening as well.

Christopher "Officially" out of Air Force

Well, after 11+ years in the Air Force, 3 moves, 5 deployments, Chris has finally seperated.  It has and will continue to be an adjustment for us all, but hopefully the pros with outnumber the cons.  He is currently enrolled at BSU in some accounting classes.  He stopped working a couple of months ago, but his last day was the 11th. We are very proud of him and grateful for his willingness to serve and protect America.  So, here's to many happy and healthy years out of the military :)  We love you, Christopher!!
