The Three Little Mouselings and the Big Bad Cat

Here is a story that Sage and Analise wrote and Sage wanted to see if she could get it published. I told her that we would put it on our Blog. Enjoy
THE THREE LITTLE MOUSELINGS AND THE BIG BAD CAT


Dedicated to Mommy who likes clean cats (we have a cat, he's not clean)
and for the country who might get in a quarrel once or more.


Once upon a time there lived a mother mouse and her three mouselings. Their names were, Susie, Tom and Jerry. Susie is the youngest and very curious and sweet. Now Tom is the second oldest and the clumsiest. Jerry was the oldest and most lazy.
One day their mother said, "I need you to build houses of your own." She also said, "Watch out for Tiger the cat! he will eat you if you're not careful.
They went to build their houses. But, the cat was listning beside the mouse hole.

So they set off. Jerry was first to find building supples. Not long after he built a house of string. Soon, Tiger, the cat came to where Jerry was. He smelled the little mouse inside. So he said,"little mouseling, little mouseling, let me come in!" But jerry said "Not by the whiskers on my chinny chin chin!"
"Then I'll claw and I'll scratch and I'll tear your house down!" Replied the cat.
So, that's what he did. But Jerry ran away to find his brother.
Tom's house was built of pencils. He saw a kid with a lot of them and he asked if he could use some.
Not long after Tom finished his house he heard Jerry knocking and shouting at the door, "LET ME IN, LET ME IN!"
Tom said "Coming, Coming!" He made his way clumisly to the door and he let Jerry in. Soon they heard ,"little mouseling, little mouseling, let me come in!" But they said "Not by the whiskers on my chinny chin chin!"
"Then I'll claw and I'll scratch and I'll tear your house down!" Replied the cat.
So, that's what he did.
Susie bought a hole in the building next to her Mom's. She opened "SUSIE"S CAFE" since her house was big enough for a cafe'. Business was going along fine until one night she heard her brothers knocking and shouting at the door. They said "Let us in, Let us in!" Susie said "Coming, Coming," very sweetly though. Her brothers said at the time "THE CAT IS ATTACKING!"
Susie told them to come in and as soon as they did, they heard,"little mouseling, little mouseling, let me come in!" They all said "Not by the whiskers on my chinny chin chin!"
"Then I'll claw and I'll scratch and I'll tear your house down!" Replied the cat, and he tried, but nothing happened. He growled and said "I'll be back!"
Susie said "Don't worry, I'll call a friend in the morinig that will help get rid of that cat."
Now Susie's friend was a dog. they became friends because they live in the same building. You might ask "why is a mouse a friend with a dog?" Well, for one thing Mr. Lab thought that Susie was so sweet and he was a very kind thoughtful dog. So, anyway, in the morning she fulfilled her promise, but first she made breakfast for Tom and Jerry. Because she knew Jerry would be too lazy and tell Tom to make breakfast. And if Tom made breakfast he'd destroy the kitchen with his clumsiness.
After breakfast, Susie walked over to Mr. Lab's kennel and asked him to watch out for cats, especially a tiger striped cat, and scare them away.
He asked "can I have a bone if I do it?"
Susie answered "sure you can, a specially meat flavored bone for you." Mr Lab got very excited and pantingly said "I'll do it, I'll do it!"
The very next monment after she ran into her house on her wee little legs, the cat came by, but luckily Mr. Lab was watching and chased the cat right out of town. And he was never heard from again.
And they all lived happily ever after and Mr. Lab got his special bone.
