Ok, so trying not to be political on my blog and regardless of my views President's "surprise" stop off in Iraq was exciting for those there. Chris called me yesterday and said that he was able to go and hear his speach. He said everyone was really stoked to see him. Here is a picture.

When Pres Bush came to Eglin the hangar went crazy. It's an awesome feeling to see the Commander in Chief (even if you don't agree with him). I remember I was to the President's left and clapped and cheered at everything he said. One of our friends in the front row said she had never seen anyone so excited. I can only imagine how pumped up everyone got being able to see the President in Iraq.
