Our Kitchen Island

We haven't posted any pictures of our finished house, but here is our latest project - we built an island for our kitchen.  We have a few finishing  details left, but it turned out pretty good.  We used three stock cabinets from Lowes, attached 3/4" particle board and laminate on the top, and trimmed the edges with oak.  It's 42" wide and 62" long.  Not too bad for a couple of amateurs.
