Artist Paints Curb

The day before yesterday some guy came to our door to ask if we wanted our curb painted my mom said yes. So yesterday some guy came over and painted our curb. And guess what my mom asked him to paint. A boise state sign. We're keeping, well trying to keep, it a seceret until my dad gets home. Here's a picture.
It will stay on until my dad gets home because he put this special paint on it to make it stay.

In honor of Mother's Day

Why are there Mother's?
Because other wise the diapers would never get changed. This cracked me up!

Analise Dance Recital

Analise takes dance here from the "Butterfly Dance Studio". She really likes it most days. They had their end of the year recital last weekend. She did great. She has natural rythym and is not afraid to get up there and shake it up. She had a big smile the whole time. (They had it at a church, so the background is a little differnt.)

Pres. Uchtdorf

I heard this talk given by Pres. Uchtdorf at the RS meeting last September and have thought about it a lot. It really made sense to me. I read the talk a few more times and then I ran into this.
I am so in awe of our 1st presidency, their optimism and hope for the future amazes me and inspires me to keep moving forward.

New Shed

We had a big ol' nasty shed in the back yard that took up a lot of space. So, we finally got that taken down and put everything in the garage. I found a new one that the Elder's quorum came over and help put up. THANKS!! Now I just have to finish cleaning out the garage.

Easter Eggs

We Colored easter eggs this year, as usual. I think that I like it more than the kids. they always want to go fast I have to jump in and aleast do a couple of eggs. They decorated with our friend Megan as well as with their new webkinz they got at the mall.
We also went out to the base for an Easter egg hunt. They had it all divided into age groups, but even so, it took less than 30 seconds for it all to be done. I forgot to take my camera, but Sage and Analise were in different age groups so I couldn't have been in two places at once.

President Obama

Ok, so trying not to be political on my blog and regardless of my views President's "surprise" stop off in Iraq was exciting for those there. Chris called me yesterday and said that he was able to go and hear his speach. He said everyone was really stoked to see him. Here is a picture.
