In my efforts to get to church on time, which didn't happen, I had a wrinkle that was bugging me. I did have a jacket as well as a blouse on, so I thougt I could iron that wrinkle out with out taking off the shirt, guess again. I have a big blister on my chest.
Later, after church, I was trying to make cookies for my neighbor who so generously mowed our lawn after he was done mowing his. I wanted to make sugar cookies. I went online and found a recipe that had several reviews that were good, so I tried that. My cookies didn't turn out quit like I had anticipated.
Lastly, I have been repainting a storage shelf for the girls toys. I was almost done, it needed one more coat, but I didn't have time to finish Saturday and didn't want to work on it on Sunday. So, it has just been sitting out in the back yard waiting for me to finish, well, last night about 3 am. It started a down pour and when I got up this morning the rain had creeped underneath my paint job, because I didn't prime it, and now it is a do over!!
Anyway, life goes on.

Poopy-do-do. That blister looks like it hurts. Hope today is better.
what the heck were you thinking, Sis don't try ironing your clothes while they are on Okay!!! LOL
Well....the blister will heal and you have learned not to iron yourself....the shelf can be repainted and you've learned the importance of primer...and the cookies you made on Monday were the BEST EVER and if I'd had any less self-control I would have rudely eaten the entire batch myself! Have a great vacation, and I will NOT say goodbye (in case we leave before you get back), but only See You Later Alligator:)
